WineBreather - Wine Aerator
How it works: Before the first use, clean the WineBreather with vinegar and rinse the breather funnel with warm water. The WineBreather can be used with or without the fine mesh screen. Simply place the breather funnel into a decanter, carafe or individual glass. The triangular plate is used with decanters that have a very large opening so that the breather funnel doesn't get stuck in the neck of the decanter. Pour the wine from the bottle into the breather funnel. The wine will flow out of the small holes at the bottom of the funnel tube and cascade down the side of the decanter, giving maximum exposure to air to achieve optimum results. To compare the effectiveness of the WineBreather, pour a small amount of wine into a separate glass to sample the flavour of the wine before and after decanting through the WineBreather. After decanting, carefully remove the breather funnel from the decanter, as there may be a few drops of wine in the bottom that could stain a table cloth or countertop. The wine is ready to serve any time after decanting. The Winebreather should be rinsed thoroughly after each use and is dishwasher safe. |
